On Saturday, July 19, 2026, Prescott Fine Art Gallery will host a special Sip & Paint workshop where participants of all ages and skill levels can craft a striking, patriotic-themed glass vase using an engaging drip-painting technique.
Whether you’re an experienced artist looking to try something new or a complete beginner picking up a brush for the first time, this inclusive event promises a relaxed, joyful evening of artistic expression paired with light refreshments. What to Expect at the Workshop Guided by experienced instructors from the gallery, participants will learn drip-painting methods specially adapted for glass surfaces. The process is hands-on, forgiving, and designed for success — no prior art experience is required. You’ll start with a blank glass vase and watch your unique design emerge as colors flow and blend in beautiful, unpredictable patterns.
By the end of the evening, every attendee will leave with a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted patriotic vase — ideal for displaying fresh summer blooms, as a festive tabletop centerpiece, or as a thoughtful gift.
The workshop emphasizes creativity over perfection. “Mistakes are often the most beautiful part of the process,” gallery staff often remind participants. This mindset makes the event especially welcoming for those who may feel intimidated by traditional art classes.
