At Framers Market & Gallery in Prescott, we know that some items aren’t just “things”—they’re pieces of your heart Also see turning memories into art. A child’s first drawing, a ticket stub from a life-changing concert, a beloved grandmother’s brooch—these personal treasures deserve more than a drawer or a box. They deserve thoughtful framing that honors their story and lets them shine every day Meet more makers on Prescott Creatives.
Here are some of our favorite creative approaches we use to bring cherished pieces to life:
- Shadow Boxes for Depth and Dimension
Perfect for 3D items like medals, seashells, vintage toys, or small sculptures. We layer elements with archival spacers to create depth, protecting delicate objects while showcasing their full form. Shadow boxes turn collections into stunning wall art that tells a complete story at a glance More ideas in creative framing ideas for memorabilia. - Float Mounting for a Modern, Airy Look
Ideal for photographs, artwork on paper, or lightweight textiles. The piece appears to “float” within the frame, attached subtly from behind. This technique emphasizes the art itself without distraction—great for minimalist homes or when you want a clean, contemporary vibe. - Multiple Openings (Mats with Several Windows)
Combine related items—like a series of family photos, travel postcards, or event mementos—into one cohesive frame. We design custom multi-opening mats to create balance and flow, turning scattered memories into a unified display. - Sentimental Framing with Conservation in Mind
Whether it’s a handwritten letter, a lock of hair, or a pressed flower, we use acid-free materials, UV-protective glass, and archival mounting to ensure longevity. Your memories stay preserved for generations.
